The Express's Diana obesession is increasingly beyond parody, and Newsnight looked a little out of touch with this report - which failed to mention that the paper seems to have decided Madeleine McCann is a more powerful dog-whistle for the front page. But they did have a wonderful interview with the founder of the Diana society, sitting regally in the middle of a sea of commemorative tat. Asked if she read the Express, she said "they are a first class paper and everything in it is true".
